The beautiful actress was raised by his parents, in a Yoruba household in the South Eastern region of Nigeria. Wendy Lawal grew up with her siblings who were supportive of her career.

She started and completed both her primary and secondary school education in Lagos State then proceeded to University of Lagos where she earned a degree in Creative Arts.

During her days in the University of Lagos, she leverage on the opportune to work on her acting skills, meeting likeminded people who work together with her.

In 2009, she earned her film debut in the television series, Living in Lagos. Despite being an actress, Wendy Lawal is also into modeling, having contested and won the 2012 Miss Lagos Carnival in a beauty pageant.

One of her biggest film appearances is in the Africa Magic’s TV series, Tinsel, playing the role of Shoshanna.

Since she came into the spotlight, Lawal has appeared in numerous Nollywood movies including Jemeji, Our Best Friend’s Wedding, The Room, House 31, The Men’s Club, The Ojays and other films.
