In 2014, he received his LLB from the University of Uyo in Akwa Ibom State. He participated extensively in student unionism while attending the institution.

He designed a new Constitution for the Law Students Association while he was a member of his faculty’s student parliament.

He established the Movement for the Rights of Nigerian Students ( NSRM ). He competed for his university at the national level.

Inibehe Effiong defeated two other candidates to win the presidency of the Law Students Association of Nigeria (LAWSAN), University of Uyo Chapter on October 5, 2012.

But in a shocking act of injustice and oppression, the university administration stripped him of his authority. At that time, he also served as the president of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Campus Fellowship.

He served as the Director of Litigation for his Chambers in the university and as a Senior Advocate of LAWSAN before eventually resigning on moral grounds.

On October 20, 2015, Inibehe was called to the Nigerian Bar as a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
