He was a father and a husband. He married ArlynPhoenix. The couple initially met in California, and afterward, they started dating and got married on September 13, 1969.

Following their nuptials, they traveled as missionaries, sharing the gospel of “The Children of God,” in Mexico, South America, and other parts of the United States.

The couple briefly adopted the names Jochebeb (Arlyn) and Amram from the Bible (John).

Their marriage was doing great for a while. The couple made the decision to divorce in 1997. Before divorcing, they had been married for 27 years.

Uncertainty surrounds the divorce’s cause. His ex-wife later married Jeffrey Weisberg in 2001.

After the divorce from his wife, he was given a cancer diagnosis later in life and battled the disease for several years.

He passed away in 2015 at the age of 68 as a result of cancer.
